I wrote a review for Shoot Many Robots which I invite you to check out over at XBLA Fans! It’s on sale right now on the Xbox Live marketplace for only 400 points, which is an absolute steal for that game. It’s got local and online co-op, tons of loot and a lot of really fun mechanics wrapped around a basic shoot ‘em up. The music’s a nice touch as well, and there’s a fair amount of humor to keep the theme fresh. The levels get rehashed a bit, but as you get more and more powerful stuff with nifty abilities attached to them and fight bigger, scarier enemies the game maintains a constant risk-reward relationship.
